I am now serving in the sullivan missouri mission. Cool fact, we are the first sisters to be here since 1980 ish....so basically we are the first sisters ever for most of these people. Right now i'm actually serving in the St. Louis mission because they are splitting their stake or something and our mission is now taking over those areas of the St Louis mission. So me and my companion are opening the area. We are the first missionaries to serve in this area from the Tulsa Oklahoma mission. so its been crazy! Oh and we are covering two areas, St. Claire and Sullivan. So we are doing the work of four elders! (so basically sisters are da bomb) haha! But its been really crazy and stressfull! but I'm trying to keep it together. Oh and on top of that i'm the first missionary that my companion has trained...but basically she knows just about as much as i know about our area which is really crazy! but the good news is that the people here are AMAZING!!! Honestly I have never seen anyone be so nice! The first night we got here one of the sisters in the branch bought us groceries, so sweet! And basically we have been fed for every meal this week! It's awesome! seriously I'm in love with the people here!
oh and i forgot to mention my president and his wife! Nicest people you will ever meet, and the hardest working people i have ever met! Honestly he gets like 3 hrs of sleep a night and is still nice the next day, he does so much for this mission. I believe it's one of the biggest missions right now, with the most baptisms I think too...not 100% positive but i'm pretty sure. So they are the best! I was so sad when we had to leave the mission home the next day because it already felt like home to me!
